We offer a range of breast reconstruction techniques for women diagnosed with breast cancer or who are at a high risk for the disease and choose to undergo preventive mastectomy. There are a number of breast reconstruction options, and our surgeons believe that patients should be fully informed about their choices before deciding on a specific path.

Pre-pectoral breast reconstruction is the primary technique our surgeons currently use for most breast reconstruction patients. It can shorten recovery time and deliver more natural-looking results through the use of a newer technique for breast implant placement that allows the implant to be placed above the chest muscle while still achieving a very natural-looking result.

Oncoplastic breast reconstruction requires only one surgery for both cancer removal and reconstruction of the breast. This technique allows for wider excision around the tumor, which decreases risk of cancer recurrence, without compromising the look of the surgical result. The technique allows the surgeon to retain more of your own breast tissue while avoiding the need for a staged procedure.

Breast implant plane exchange can help women experiencing discomfort or visible implant deformity after breast reconstruction. This procedure relocates the breast implant above the pectoralis muscle for an improved look and increased comfort.
